Thumbs up NSR 50 or YSR 50 size for tall rider

Hello,

In the last year I have really been interested in getting my hands on a NSR 50 or the Yamaha YSR 50 but there is only one thing that I cannot really find no matter how much I search. I am 6'2 and am not sure if I would be way to tall to ride this thing for a 30 mins to a hour at a time without being to uncomfortable. I know being a smaller bike its going to be a little of a squeeze just not sure how much. Just by looking at pictures online it looks like about the same size as a grom but maybe some owners could help me out with my dilemma. I would really just be riding it around town, backroads and maybe 10-15 mins of roads where I would be going around 50 mph. ' I know I would have to do different sprockets and probably upgrade the engine a bit to make that speed realistic without overworking the engine.'

Thanks for any words of wisdom!,
Eric

Those 2 bikes are pretty small for someone your size and holding 50mph may be a problem. May I suggest an Aprilia RS50 instead? It will easily hold 50MPH and will fit a larger rider.

I have owned both the NSR and a YSR. I used the YSR to commute from Ingleside to Sunset using city streets for work for a few months, but that was when I was half the age I am now. I might have hit 50 a few times going down 19th avenue, but it definately would't try holding it there for extended periods.
