Default Cagiva4ever Finland. various 2T's

hi !

im Markus, known as “Cagiva4ever”. 33yo from Finland.

Cagiva collector since 1997. My 1st Cagiva item I got when I was 8, it was a Cagiva school backpack that I had for 1st and 2nd grade elementary school.

Or in other words, I kinda do not collect but I have such a 2T Passion that makes me to Salvage 2T bikes that I find as neglected, or in parts , if they are Collectables by model brand or being just a Art form in my mind. Ive then rescued also others than Cagiva…

Seeing something Art or collectable in a ditch at backforest at Bike Breaker softens my hearth. So, I have slipped over the years also into collecting other Brand 2T’s.




This BATS forum I was introduced some years ago by fellow Cagiva owners from USA.


Past 17 years ive been on web among various global 2t forum’s but during past ~5 years level has dropped radically and skilled people have moved on. Ive been trying to find a new place to enjoy, BATS appealed me because of moped Derbi GPR scene and that I have those fellow GPR Cagiva owners here already.
And especially as folks in States usually know how to appreciate rare 2t’s in there, that are not common or usual thing to even exist to be owned.


Ive made bikes from nuts and bolts, as many of my bikes have been just a bare naked main chassy at the beginning. Puzzles, not basket cases where most parts still exist in Box.

Latest rescues from 2013 have been remains of broken down salvage yard Derbi GPR 50cc ’00 (like Cagiva Mito/Prima 50/75cc but with derbi’s own 50cc engine).

Exactly same circumstances as above for Sachs XTC 125cc Frame from 4T version, to be Converted into 2T version with Yamaha’s 3BN engine such as DTR125 etc…

For XTC I fall in love as the Frame is so much Ducati style. Lightweight and very well made. 2nd thing is that it uses Cagiva’s rims. And that I had Prior salvaged 2T Yamaha engine’s 1 Van load. And that, its original ugly fairings-fuel tank that I don’t have, I can now replace with something else.

I did also rescue Derbi Senda ’00 2T moped frame from bike breaker’s metal dumbster. More puzzle’s that I do like. Even that buying even non complete rolling bike would be cheaper..at the end.

And same case for 2T Suzuki RG125Fun complete chassy

During 2012 i bought complete 3pa 125 TZR ‘91, or almost 3 so to speak how to count, 1 full Van from floor to Mid roof Stacked, so to speak.

i have summink 13+ bike's, inc diy 2t motorized bicycle's. Minarelli engined Fi made Moped’s. and somewhat 30+ various 2T small engine's etc,

4T tuned Chinese 200cc quad. Carting 2T race engine etc. about 100m2 of parts etc

Those 2T motorized bicycles, I started to make and learn about 4 years ago.


im very much of a diy man. I have to be as I live in small village at BackForest (too) near Arctic Circle. Population only under 3300 in my village, this is worse than Siperia for population and networking.. I cant find other bikers no other mechanics with simular interests.


Back in '97 when i bought my 1st 125cc 2T, i had some offers between Cagiva C12R , 3pa TZR and Gilera Sp01. as Mito's were not basically available at used bike markets here in Fi, i went with C12R '89 as Cagiva's were and are my Love, since age 8 un-offically.

From Cagiva's i have factory Sp models, the best and most rare ones out of the range. i R&D for them as i tune them, Restaure etc.

For example I have Evo1 Sp ’95, same model what Valentino Rossi rode. This bike is my Eleanor that I build 7 years and im scared of it. Among those Cagiva’s are even more rare models, some that I have spend building 15 years almost.




Something more casual about my profile :

- i have 3year degree from machinist/cnc machinist school, actually it was OldSchool NC-machining, Prior CNC. Those years included 1 for welding and sheet metal work. After that ive worked on the Metal fabrication industry as a tig welder etc. Sheet metal worker.

-Also I am a registered practical nurse and 1st Aid response from red cross. Been in a Fi army service as every Finn. been working in a School enviroment as a teacher etc.

-ive worked as a Mechanic in a Aprilia++ Polaris dealer, and as a parts retailer. Working past years also and currently as a mc parts private retailer with my global connections and collector friends in a joined collab.

-Sometimes i also work in a Bike Breaker, where from i got my 3Pa TZR’s and lotsa various model Yamaha 125cc 2T parts. This Breaker deals with Am6/Rabasa/gsm engined mopeds, is a Italian Beta dealer and also retails Chinese mopeds.

- i dont hobby much else than bike's and motor's. little fishing and outdoors hiking biking daily. i do not own a Car, never have yet, I wish I could afford car, a van to take Bike into it and go ride new parts of home Country.

-as a another self educated hobby i fix electronics, consumer electronics, phones-pc's etc. i also re-Devlop modify some Vehicle electronics being Servo control units etc, ignition stuff.

From electronics i do kinda collect *****'s Communicator cell phone models, slowly. Also I collect 80s game consoles like Commodore’s etc These game consoles when im lucky to come across, I always salvage what I find free. Atari’s Amiga’s Commodore’s etc.

-i write a shop Blog in Finland, for the moped/bike parts that i Retail with my joint global collabs. + misc issues for the Blog, related into bike specs etc investigations happenings.

-During past ~10years ive worked in MC scene for my Italian, German, and other UK collabs. This is my dream and I hope it to make living out of it. To evolve and progress it into better and better.




Hopes and Dreams:

For Future I hope to succeed to help my UK collab, and to make better living for us, to make our Progressing Retailing to Evolve.

I also so much hope to find more 2T Enthusiast to live with, as in Fi Scene is permanent ground hawg day. In Fi 125cc are considered to be only 16yo teenager bikes, and im rare species here.

If retailing shop progresses into better, I could finally Travel and meet new people and enjoy motorcycle life properly. Buy the 1st car and be Free, as folks, remember, Fi has long winter and im Stuck those months, makes me being Of the bike for 7~9 months annually. While during very short summer I joyride bikes and borrow mom’s car for Bike Breaker trips.

Ohh and my 3rd dream is to get new door into mom’s carage so that I could 1 day use the carage during long 7+ months winter, so that carage would hold temp in and not be -5Celsius to -15celsius indoors.
In Carage I have my Metal Machinery equipment that for ive been slowly saving and investing into during past 7 years. I have there Lathe, Mill, Esab Tig mma and Italian Mc tire changer machine. But for now they sit there waiting for warmer future, as short summer is always so busy.

I most humble dream that before im 40 I could start using them Machinery and be at warm and have better working space. And to find and have those tru 2T friends to be with and enjoy.

I wish I could have my life among bikes, making me a living, to be offered collaborations and jobs.
For 2014 my UK collab will be getting a proper WebShop, whom ive been helping with ie recently sourcing the web it-engineer a fellow biker collab.

Doors are open, we look for Global Collabs no matter what size or level, from hobbyist into pro.

Default Aprilia Rs125 '04 white Poggiali Replica. Euro2 Emissions

hi to all !

as it was my Bday during Xmass, for 33yo.... i now recently week ago as a gift for my self, bought 15 000km used Rs125 '04 White Poggiali Replica.

it was a non planned purchase and i snatched it carpe diem.

it has been Partially deristricted (carb, cdi and AirBox snorkel) but it still has Stock euro2 emissions level Exhaust assy in it and no Rave power valve.

got it for cheap, hence buying it.

has some faults and broken parts as ex-owner has been total neanderthal golden spoon child.

i.e front wheel isnt even secured, hence it has been moving along the Spindle and it has Broken the front brake dics floaters.

i.e brakepads have been worn to bare metal and discs ruined. rear brake is used until all fluid has dissapeared into Caliber.

i.e like 1 litre of 2t oil has been poured all over the oil tank area.

Wheel alignments so badly adjusted and tire pressures wrong that both tyres have worn non symmetrical.

etc stupid things.

would like to spank the ex owner.....

Default Aprilia RS125 tuning parts and V-Force's

hi !

i have now bought and secured offically some parts for my RS125, from my UK 125cc shop collab partner AEPmotorcycles.

i had a sales Stock of RS125 parts in my home from 2013, when i didnt yet have the RS125.

so now i bought from the sales stock:
-Rave2 used but new Mint condition
-OEM #122 cylinder non Sp version. Which is little ported from intake side
- VHSB34LD from year '95, and i havent yet Checked but i have a feeling that its from Extrema model and is OEM part, not aftermarket dellorto item. in Mint condition

-Marchessini Sp front rim.

and from previous years i have some new engine spares like piston kit's and even Mitaka cylinder.

i also rememberd that i already once from Breaker found from metal dumbster, a Rave1 Solenoid among some other RS125 parts. and couple years ago from AF1 SportPro i snatched the PHBH28rd PowerJet Carb.

But still, im now looking for prettyer rave1 assy, that aint corroded from UK winter riding..
and also hunting for a Arrow exhaust chamber. which for i already have NEW in Boxing Arrow Kevlar silencer.



Then, i would like to ask 2T collagues help from USA :

some years ago i bought by my self V-Force2 ReedCages as new from USA, from Parts Unlimited network.

it wasnt easy during then, as it had been summink 9years since their production had ended, But NOS items existed and i Belive they still do.

if Some1 would be able to help me to locate a source from USA to buy V-F2's for KTM (fits RS125) and for Honda CR125. i would also need to buy spare Reed's.

i would for example in exhange for the help, give an time Unlimited Lifetime option to buy new or used parts from me and my UK collabs shop, for Trade cost price. and with the best and cheapest postage option available.

my Collab is a 125cc etc specialised Breaker and retailer, with me. He Dismantles RS125's and Cagiva Mito's and Yamaha TZR's etc

Default AF-1 SportPro FM

hi ! all

my latest Trip to bike breaker was good. it was super hectic and draining. bought and saved some parts like C12R Sp engine bottom 5P. Which i didnt realise before during past 2 years of looking the remains of the bodged and stripped C12R.

Chinese scooter deal didnt happen so i bought and rescued finally the Af-1 SportPro FM model from Bike Breaker. it has some parts been cannibalised sold from it, hence i got it cheap. has all paper work etc legit to register, no need for inspection or anything like that MOT.

mine being FM model is above #1800 rolled out from factory.

Default aprilia cagiva yamaha etc

Spring time went past being busy. been fixing customers vehicles, ignition and reg-rec systems etc. Fixing Lawmovers and Small engines.

i finally week ago at my latest trip to bike breaker, swopped the my 4th C64 into the 4T Chinese scooter Quinqi brand 50cc.

ive been fixing also my RS125 '04 Poggiali, which has so far taken 55hours to even wash it carefully with Solvent and toothbrush, and it aint even yet washed totally. ive started to polish the Frame back to Factory look. have discovered unfortunately Various damaged or worn parts under all the dirt and filthyness.

i.e even Brake calibers are totalled by ex-owner. rear shock has leaked oil out etc.

to get the RS back to clean its gonna take like Total of 70~85 hours of cleaning it washing it. its gonna look good at the end, like 95% mint new'ish.


ive again found and bougth some parts for my bikes from Breaker yard. i.e finally after like 2 years of Active searching, after ~300+ hours i found the 3MB00 DTR125 cylinder, with its spindle YPVS attached into it. i also bought complite 1GU engine RD125lc.

havent yet even Started or Ridden any of my Cagiva's during this Spring summer so far. im gonna start riding with my Motorized bicycle about'ish next week.

among all the million exiting things and work, ive also managed with my collague, to help him to buy various Sp parts for his Cagiva, as a back-up and Spares and Joy.

Recived couple Cagiva Mito Evo2 Parts Donations Freebyes for my 2nd Evo1 Sp, diy from Kit parts, for Future project.

bought collected etc parts for my SportPro FM model and picked-up 2nd Chassy etc parts to it earlyer at Spring.

and somewhere there i managed to get 2T Minarelli 50cc LC engine from Scooter Yamaha Aerox/MBK Nitro, from BreakerYard, from metal recyling dumbster, as in somewhat dismantled and in parts but 90% there.

Default Aprilia Af1 Rs125 SportPro Futura Cagiva Freccia C9R Mito1 C12R

more time has passed since my last visit here.

Rs124 '04 Poggiali is still under re-furb. Missing now only a good oem rear disc, that im trying to find in VGC with budget.
i have managed to find remaining oem Rave parts and some double spares for rave1. i found also from bike breaker a #122 Chesterfield FP oem exhaust with silencer, etc parts. More spares for electronics etc, basically half a bike since my previous Post update..And i have a 2nd legit Chassy too, that i can road register clean without any mot.

For Aprilia's i have now about offically a 2nd full SportPro, or Futura. and various double triple spares.


Also:
i have many very rare NOS oem Aprilia AF1 series parts for sale. in various categoryes, from Chassy items into electrics and engine parts ++

Replica, Sintesi , Futura, SportPro, Europa etc models from AF1 series.

also RS125 parts from Rotax #123 Chesterfield/Rossi replica ,into #122 engined '99~'05 GP1 tail.

me and my collague bought some years ago Fi aprilia dealers warehouse stock. and just now we are 1st time going it through and making inventory.



what comes to Cagiva's, during summer 2015 i lost my old Fi friend to cancer, that re-attacked 3rd time and took him fast in 1 month. We had dealings and friendship among Cagiva's for nearly 9 years. My friends last wishes was for me to have his whole Cagiva collection inc everything from spares to bikes.

So at the beginning of Autum '15 i prepped a trip ~1500km to meet the family and to help out. i Picked up all the testamented items and old writing notes, next summer i can wear my Friends mechanic overalls while testing some of his bikes, to pay my devotion and respect to him.

The collection was around 4 Cagiva's : '87 C9R Freccia as well as 2x C12R '89 and Mito1 '92.
This spares range included many new non-used Series 6 sp parts and Cagiva carbs too.


From past i have some spares for Mito1 Mito2 models, std and Sp parts. but now as i got the complite Mito1 i went and bought oem NOS Mito1 panels fairings, from a Fi importers pile that i have been Tracking and following since early 90s. i have bought something like 70 peaces of panels from the pile over the 25 years of time following it.

From same pile i have various NOS Freccia panels, for all models.


For my Yamaha's i havent done anything, more than inventory and buying some more spares. i did get a free fixable Cylinder assy (minus PV) 3MB00 from GPR125Nude, from bike breaker, with chipped of RH-corner Exh port upper edge.

For my Derbi senda or GPR50 1st gen, i havent either done more than inventory and buying some more spares, everytime when bike breaker has slipped good usable items into metal recyc dumbster.


Over all many projects underconstruction, many investigations etc on going. And now as its winter time, its my annual time for Studying electronics and doing electronics repairs. im continuing my PC o-scope project.


This hobby is starting to get a serious collection, as it was it already long time ago. Investment into my future, to support my hobby, by dealing parts Globally.

atm Finland is still under economic collapse for the 7th year in a row, speeding inflation and growing deflation. 125cc Bike's here now are cheap as chips so to speak.
a last ongoing 10years to buy certain 125cc's before they vanish from Fi soil due to age etc neglect current teenagers and oncoming generations.
