Quick Derbi Senda Q:
How do I access the top shock mount on my stock Senda?
It looks like I have to remove the oil tank, air box and possibly
the gas tank....Am I missing the obvious?
Cheers, Jeff

2 months and 415 views and no replies..
Guess I should just take it apart and see for my self.
I have a new Bitubo shock sitting a shelf just waiting
to go for a ride.
Cheers Derbi fans.

I have a Senda sitting in my storage that needs to be built. If stock I think the airbox and oil tank are in the way of the top bolt.

Yes: You gotta take all the stuff off.
Its a difficulty level of two beers.

Well if two beers are required, I might as well buy a 12 pack and do it right!
Thanks.
Been a wee bit busy finishing up my 1973 RD250 project. Doing a complete
stem to stern maint. resto in the GasGas EC250SM, and the KDX240SM. Rebuilt
the shocks and forks.
Right now I just started a rebuild on a (free!!) 2004 KTM 85SX that a friend
gave me with a blown motor.
One of these days, (months) I'll get back to the Derbi. It runs so great it is
low on the list for upgrades. I have two big bore kits and the Bitubo shock to
install.
I will be asking Q:s soon about which kit you folks suggest I install first.
Any chance of the BATS coming down to So. Cal. for the 2-stroks Hooligan
show in a couple weeks?
Not sure how big it is going to be, but, I do plan to attend.
Cheers guys.
Jeff

http://www.bayareatwostroke.com/foru...ead.php?t=3918
in the events section.
Over on 2 stroke world the conversation has been all but non existent.
No confirmation form Mr. Mendosa if he has secured resrevations from
Cook's. A friend talked to him two weeks ago and he said it was going to happen.
Only a couple class throphies and the normal "smoke out"
My feelings is it is going to be an unofficial gathering like a bike night.
I don't FB so have not heard or seen any advertising about the show.
Although, people always seem to come out of the woodwork for these things.
If I hear more I will post back in the Events section.
Cheers, Jeff
