The ride got a bit of a late start today with multiple delays through out--sorting pains from a long winter. ;P
After a bit of sorting we got to the ride. I have to say looking back over my shoulder and seeing a group of strokers is one awesome site. ;P
This was a special ride because Ari, AJ, and Marcus--the original Bats--were all on the ride, and while he still rides regularly it was also AJ's first ride out this year. Plus Paz was joining us again on an RS for the first time in around two years. Greg, Gianluca, Bryan, and I filled out the rest of the ranks.
The route included some old favorites, some recently new favorites, and some roads the Bats hadn't previously enjoyed. I think it's going to be a while before we get another ride that was as well matched as this one. It may have taken us some time to get things started, however once on the road the Bats were flying. : )
The Little Chihuahua turned out to be a place of great food and much eye candy. We'll have to stop there again.
Thanks to everyone that made it out and helped get these bikes on the road. : ) It was an awesome ride.
Get ready for the next one on Sunday the 27th for the Bats Memorial Day Two Stroke Celebration
Lets get to the photos...
Here's the Phenix RS that I picked up from MT Mike. In little over a week from its explosion it was back on the road and then this weekend it made its return to street riding.
