Hi,
Does anyone know what model battery this bike needs? And where is the best place to order it from?
Thanks in advance.

I did a quick search on Batteries Plus website and came up with this; http://www.batteriesplus.com/product...-Racing/1.aspx There's a Batteries Plus just two miles from my house. I buy all my bike batteries there and find them to very good quality.

I know for Yuasa it is YB4L-B, however I wonder if I can use YB5L-B, that is, 5amp instead of 4amp, so that it can give it a but more push for starting the bike. Would an increase to 5mp from 4amp be a problem? I always think that usually a higher amp will not affect electric parts because once the required amp is achieved the extra amp will not do anything, as if the input limit is set, so more would not make any difference.

I wouldn't risk it, but thats just me. As Dave and Dank have pointed out, you can get the right battery for not that much. On the other hand, how easy to find replacement electrical parts for your bike or chase electrical gremlins?
