Default Lets hit Stockton!

I've been going to Stockton every monday with my RS for the last four months religiously. I was thinking if some of you guys want to car pool we can split the fuel. I have a F250 with a trailer that will fit two bikes so a total of 4 bikes. I'm in Campbell. I'm sure Matt would be stoked to have the extra people+cash. The track is $25 and I spend about $55 round trip. Let me know what you think.

Wink track action

I would really be down for this if I had my house in order. Still need lots of stuff to be able to do a track day. The bike needs work, I need gear. Working towards this and would certainly like to go out there with you once I get there. :P

Do you know the requirements to participate, and could you inform us?

Thanks!

Not much to it. You just need full gear. I think also you need to have your bike safty wired and sliders mounted. Matt's pretty cool about it but I was thoroughly checked out at Infineon. Plus you dont want to be that guy who gets fluids on the track. I just made my own sliders from tap plastics and bought some GSXR bar end sliders for my frame area. Pretty cheesy but I have gone down and they do all work! I've attached a couple of shots of my makeshiftness.

I'ts alot of fun and there is a great bunch of guys and gals out there to dice it up with not to mention Ms Myers out there smoking ya. I find it really good practice for regular track days not to mention practicing better corner speed. Anyway let me know. I leave San Jose around 10am and stay until 5pm

Tell Matt Marcus says hi. I spent a few years there tearing it up with Elena and Cameron. Boy oh boy those were the good ole days.

Unhappy

Sounds like a blast - though my bike is far from being able to pass inspection (safety wire, bumpers, etc) and I would need to get full gear. I was hoping since it is a track day they would relax some of the restrictions.

Matt doesn't play. They had the track repaved last year or so. They want sliders on frame and swing arm plus saftey wire and no coolant. Water weater and all fluid hoses need to be run into a collection bottle.
As far as gear. You could show up with jeans and a t shirt BUT have all elbow pads and knee pads and that would be good but I've only seen that with pocket bikes.
Good luck with that.
