View Full Version : New Derbi Senda problems

So I just picked up a new derbi senda supermoto and am having some problems with the electrics, the kill switch doesnt turn the bike off and the tach is only working when I rev it for a sustained period. The Lights are not working and the breaklight doesnt trigger when I put my foot down. I know the battery is dead and that could cause some of the problems but does that explain all of them? I going to get a new battery the middle of this week but going crazy thinking about the potential work I may have to do.

All the Symptoms of a Low Battery,
Low battery will kill a Derbis` specific Electrics you described, And can
assure you also that a Full Charge should clear it up.
Battery Tender: i always use w/Volt Meter everytime before i ride i
check the voltage with bike off, & then running after that with signals,
horn & rev`n it to see how low it`ll drop... Call me cautious :D
P.S. Stock Derbi Batteries normaly are the Worst*

I was just going to go to my local battery shop and pick up a replacement, is there a better one I can use? They have a lot of different ones in stock.

I would get a sealed no maintence battery and you will be good. I know sears has a good one available also.
